The NMAAHC Searchable Museum extends access to hundreds of Black American artifacts archived by the Smithsonian from an in-person experience to a global online audience.
Searchable Museum is an online destination aimed to provide a high-aesthetic, cutting edge digital representation of the physical museum, enhanced with the ability to conduct online searches throughout the various exhibits, artifacts, audio, video and documents kept at the museum, while maintaining respect of the subject matter and sensitive nature of black history.
